The International Peace & Security Institute is offering a prestigious and specialized scholarship for exceptional law students to attend the 2015 The Hague Symposium on Post-Conflict Transitions & International Justice. In this summer’s symposium, participants will have the unique opportunity to engage in an intense and academically rigorous three weeks of interactive lecture, discussion, and experiential education led by the field’s foremost political leaders, scholars, practitioners, and advocates in the city of international law. As an organization with a wide network of individuals who may be in the process of earning their law degree, International Law Association is in a strategic position to inform potential candidates about this exciting opportunity to impact their learning experience.
Through a generous contribution from the Dorsey & Whitney Foundation that pays tribute to the firm’s values, the International Peace & Security Institute (IPSI) is pleased to be able to offer 2 Dorsey & Whitney Foundation Scholarships for the 2015 The Hague Symposium on Post-Conflict Transitions & International Justice worth $2500 each. While this is competitive and selective, we encourage all students who match the criteria (see attached) and who have a demonstrated passion for the field of international law and post-conflict strategies to apply. Opening an application will lead students one step closer to better, brighter futures as peace leaders in the realm of international justice. Please be aware the deadline for the scholarship application is February 27.
On behalf of IPSI, we invite you to share this information with those who you believe would benefit from attending our Symposium this summer.
